TOPIC: TELECONFERENCE: How to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder
WHEN: Thursday, June 11th at 1:00 pm Pacific Time
Register: here.
First let’s look at the definition of Autism Spectrum Disorder, followed by a short review of how it’s diagnosed. You’d think that would be simple, but it’s not. There are so many variables to consider for a formal diagnosis, that it can be quite challenging to arrive at a succinct diagnosis.
Some of our members are living with formally diagnosed “Aspies” and others are living with self-diagnosed or spouse-diagnosed. Anyway you look at it, the convoluted interpersonal problems are the key to any diagnosis, especially for those of us with “High Functioning” Autistic loved ones. This is where we need the most help isn’t it?
Come to this conference with your questions and observations about diagnosis. One big question for all of you to consider is how to use the diagnosis to improve your relationship and family life.
Please come to this teleconference to learn more about this confounding difference. Learn to stop accepting the booby prize in your relationship. Once registered for this call you will reminder emails but it is important to check out the instructions for Teleconferences here.
